Zane - Next Step Blackburn

The Next Step Horticulture group on Fridays have been learning practical skills with weeding, planting, watering, layering, propagating. At Kew cemetery the group have been planting different flowers, weeding and watering. We started a project in March this year where we trimmed and re-planted plants in bigger pots with new soil. This is so the plants can grow. The roots are the mouth of the plant and need to be fed. This project is to make the plants healthy and sell them for Mother’s Day at Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre.
